Due to the continued growth of our business, we have created opportunities for an Electromagnetic Compatibility Design Engineer Job Description: The Product Integrity group works closely with the research and development community and provides design consultanting, engineering and validation testing throughout the product development cycles for our customers. The candidate is required to work closely with design teams on several concurrent projects providing advanced EMC engineering expertise and modeling, to ensure product compliance to both EMC and Radio requirements. Involvement could cover all phases of a development cycle; including architectural influence, EMC budgeting and simulation, defining market requirements and product validation for final field release. The candidate must also be able to initiate investigations into the cause of EMC radiation, employ techniques to reduce emissions and improve product immunity performance. The EMC engineer will be working closely with the customers to define market requirements, overall EMC approach and provide identified deficiencies and recommended fixes. The EMC engineer will also be responsible for generating test plans and summary test reports for each product. The EMC engineer may also be called on to mentor junior staff members.
