I don't think that plain yellow has been allowed for many years.
Everything is green/yellow. Plain yellow is one phase of a three-phase
supply in Britain and some other countries. So is red, which used to be
'earth' in Austria and Netherlands. So is blue, which is the neutral in
single-phase flexibles. It's all being changed, too. The three phases
will be different shades of black, I believe. (;-)
