In North America, the earthing conductor in
building wiring is green.

In Europe, the earthing conductor in building
wiring is yellow.

For power cords and equipment earthing conductors,
a compromise was agreed to for green/yellow.

Note that in North America, power cord and
equipment earthing conductors may be green/yellow
or green.

In Europe, power cord and equipment earthing
conductors may be green/yellow or yellow.

Best regards,
Rich
