Hi group, A customer is requesting us to test our primary 28Vdc lines according to the CS06 test of the Mil-std 461B. Our primary 28Vdc has a 28V High line and an ungrounded 28V Low line. It is decoupled from our secondary electrical ground (GND) by means of a transformer. The GND is connected to the chassis via one starpoint in the unit. I have read the procedure in the Mil-461B and the Mil-462 and have seen that we need to perform a parallell injection of the pulse on the lines. My problem is between which lines does the Mil-std mean? Does it mean to inject the pulse between the 28V High line and the 28V Low line or do I need to inject the pulse between the 28VHigh line and GND and between the 28VLow line and GND. Or am I missing the clue of the CS06 test?
