Please be advised that the IEC has replaced IEC60950 3rd Ed. with IEC60950-1:2001. Excerpted, the foreward of IEC60950-1 states "This first edition of IEC 60950-1 cancels and replaces the third edition of IEC 60950, issued in 1999, and constitutes a technical revision.". The countries that you referred to below may be waiting to adopt IEC60950-1, but I do not know that for cetain. However, I can say that as Greece is a member of the EU, it stands to reason that the EN version is required there. Also, for New Zealand I believe that AS/NZS 60950:2000 would apply there already given the transition period there. Does anyone know what countries have adopted/are adopting/planning to adopt IEC60950-1?
