Pretty interesting, I went through the same exercise using Google, with similar results. I also double checked my company literature and all is in good order. Apparently some folks simply replicate what others have done with 'apparent' success, and don't check for accuracy. It would be interesting to learn where this 'bug' first entered the system and how it propagated.
Call me picky, but I usually go straight to the source as my first choice for information. For example the Europa website for specifics on directives and legislation, the CENELEC web site to learn about publication and withdrawal dates on standards and I actually ordered and read EN 45014 "General Criteria for Supplier's Declaration of Conformity" to layout our company declarations. -doug ----------- Douglas E.
