IEC825-1 and CDRH requirements are focused on the laser product and incorporating provisions in the product for a safe installation. However, they do not include much on the actual installation and use/human interaction (other than for laser light shows). I recommend that you review NFPA115 - criteria for the safe design, manufacture, installation, and use of lasers and associated equipment.
