Zohar,
Put a jumper wire or connector in series with suppressors, allowing you to
conduct Hi-Pot Test on the unit without stressing any of these components.
The connection is resumed after placing jumper back on the board; unit shall
not be able to operate without the jumper.

Subject: Production Line Hi-Pot Test

Dear Grope

We have designed an AC/DC converter constructed in the primary side with
two varistors (rated 275V), one side of one of them connect to Line , other
side connected to Earth through Gas Tube, second varistor one side
connected to Neutral and other side to Earth trough the same Gas Tube.
My question is how to conduct the production line Hi-Pot test ? It's
unpractical to remove those components before testing in production !!

Thanks
Zohar
