My response to Mr. Horvat's message was indeed blunt, but
_was_not_ personal.  If my response lacked the decorum some
delicate souls crave, then certainly those self-same
creatures can take me to task off the list (some already
have), rather than making personal comments on the list.

I have responded to some comments I've received off the list
in like manner to the spirit in which they were delivered to
me.  One such person decided that implied it was fair game
to get personal *on* the list.  Others have decided to
follow suit, as those who seek security in numbers tend
aggregate.

If it is anyone's intent to turn this into a boorish flame
war, let's get it on, but let's do it off the list.
