Since A11 addressed issues related to LED optical power evaluations, it's added requirements would not necessarily apply to a power supply. Note that A4 has the same date of suprecession of previous standards as A11. You could easily make the case that A4 is good enough. My recollection is that A11 was a band aid, because TC76 was though too in slow making needed changes to IEC60825-1. Keep in mind that the harmonized standards lists for the RTTED and LVD indicate EN60950:1992 through A11 will be superceded 1JAN2005. You may wish to consider a different power supply or ask the vendor to update their certification reports, if the product's manufacturing life will extend beyond 1JAN2005. Regards, Peter L.
