Manufacturer A produce a system that consists of the units X and Y. The
units are CE marked based on testing.
Manufacturer B produce a units Z. The unit is CE marked based on testing.

Manufacturer A will remove his own unit Y and replace it with unit Z from
manufacturer B. Manufacturer A will put this new system onto the market.

Question:
According to the EU law (i.e. RTTE directive), will Manufacturer A be
responsible for unit Z if it fails?
