All, I have had the same problem in getting my EFT_Burst tester repaired by them, and found their service to be unacceptable also.
After submitting my tester to them, 3k dollars and one and half month later , I finally got back the tester ( from Switzerland, HQ for them ). Their (Hipotronics) Sales Dept. appears to be much more responsible than their technical/repair support dept. My experience of using their service dept was an absolute nightmare ! We also have a PC6-288.1 Surge Tester (great machine!), and have had similar service issues with Hipotronics. I may be able to help. Give me a call. Hipotronics has been of no help after the person who calibrated it quit the company, so I'm looking for alternatives: - Is there anyone in the US other than Hiptronics that can repair this old beast? - Does anyone out there have a service manual/schematic for the unit (Haefely won't sell them to me).
