I guess that the BS standard >incorporates UK deviations and removes deviations for other countries, No. It includes the differences (Common Modifications) agreed by *all* the CENELEC countries, together with all the Special National Conditions, required by some countries due to specific laws that affect the subject of the standard and will not be changed. There are also a few 'A deviations' left in some standards - these are deviations that are supposed to be temporary, until national legislation is updated. >but we’d like to know if there are any other modifications? The references to other standards are substituted by references to European equivalents, if they exist. These, too, may be purely European standards or are very likely not to be quite identical to the IEC standards from which they are derived. The BSI Catalogue shows the position in very abbreviated form.
