Although from a different perspective, some time ago we upgraded our 
computer and had to upgrade our NI card at the same time. We then had 
quite a problem getting the system working again, not knowing whether it 
was the reinstallation of the software in the new PC or the settings on 
the new card that were preventing the analyser from working. The 
"handbooks" with both cards were not particularly helpful but after some 
experimentation with combinations of DIL switch positions, we eventually 
achieved success.
