Dear Doug,

The initially published 19 CCC Categories (now becomes 20) are intended for
product types/applications, not necessarily refer to exactly the product
itself.

Along with the published CCC categories, CNCA also published a 42-pages of
product list with 325 product HS codes. You need to check your product HS Code
and compare with the listed codes.

However, you need to be careful when you do this, because only the first 6
digits of Chinese HS code are in compliant with international HS code
system.... ....

How to handle the rest of digits in the HS code is actually the real confusing
part.....when you get there.....you will know what I mean...

Contact me off-line to dicsuss further.

Thanks

Greetings all,

I thought I knew the answer to this and now I am not sure.

My understanding was that if a product type is not listed in the
categories list for the CCC mark then the mark is not required. I have
someone is trying their best to find a category that might, possibly,
somehow, match a category but not exactly.

Is there someone who can clarify this for me?

Regards,

-doug
