We have had an enquiry into testing a SRD operating between 10.5 and 10.55
GHz it is used to find the speed of items moving past it. Basically a swing
speed indicator ! Golf, tennis, etc etc.
I have looked into the various stds, but can't really find one that fits,
it is using PIR type technology, but it isn't as such a movement or alarm
detector. I found ETS 300-440 was closest.
The product is licensed for use in USA, but looks to be operating outside
of the EU reg's.
I'd appreciate any input from the many forum members in EU mainly, on
whether this device can be licensed or not, I have suggested the importer
contact OFCOM, but in the mean time, one to puzzle over ?
