There really isn't a virus attached to those messages. It clearly states that gemini3 is deleting the virus laden attachment. IEEE does a great job of filtering/scanning for virii (viruses?). I have never received a virus through my ieee.org address in the last 6 years. The text of the message is always there with a label at the top that clearly states the virus that infected the attachment and it says the the attachment was removed.
Check with your network administrator to make sure that these messages don't negatively affect your network. I'm willing to bet that since they have already been scanned and cleaned that they will not harm your network services. They are still annoying though.
