Does anyone know if the R&TTE Directive applies to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) equipment operating at 218.3 Hz? I cannot find any standard that is harmonized to the R&TTE Directive that applies to Short Range Devices (SRD) under 9 kHz or specifically to EAS equipment. I'm thinking that only the EMC and Low Voltage Directives apply.
