Does anyone know of a standard or industry accepted
method to measure the contact resistance to the surface
of zinc plated sheet steel? I am currently using various
gaskets, 4 point ohm meter and small metal samples to determine
the force necessary to break the gasket though the oxide layer to get
resistance values in the .1 to 2 ohm range. I am looking for
a better or standard way to evaluate the plating.

Thanks,
Keith Hardin
