Can anyone help?
I was given a requirement t-- "A device must not exhibit disruption when a 1
microfarad capacitor, charged to plus or minus 680 volts DC is discharged
between the hot and neutral AC supply lines, at any phase from 0 to 360
degrees, with a repetition rate of 30 time a second."
Does anybody know what standard this came from? What standard covers this?
It kind of sounds like a subset or old IEC 1000-4-4 test. Does anybody know
what piece of equipment performs this 0-360 phase testing?
Thanks,
Mike Sosnoski
