The first edition of IEC 62281, Safety of Primary and Secondary Lithium Cells and Batteries During Transport, has been issued: Refer to: http://www.iec.ch/online_news/etech/arch_2004/etech_0704/pro dserv.htm#transfer http://domino.iec.ch/webstore/webstore.nsf/artnum/032183 For those that haven't looked, there is a new "Preview" function on the IEC WebStore, making the scopes and tables of contents available on-line, in Adobe Acrobat format. Makes standards more visible; very useful. UL was the first I noticed to do this kind of thing (there's is in html format) and all standards bodies should follow suit. (See what can happen when a few voices speak out?) Regards, Peter L. Tarver, PE [email protected] This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
