Job description : Provide Program Management leadership for the RoHS Implementation Team and the RoHS Leadership team in Manufacturing. Work closely with Design Engineering and the Product Stewardship Council to implement company wide policies and business processes in support of RoHS. Specific responsibilities include: ********Coordinate data collection and analysis by working with the various subteams and crossfunctional organizations. ********Working with Product Compliance Stewardship to develop RoHS compliance roadmap. ********Turn legal data into Cisco actionable business process information. ********Coordinate all team s activities to coordinate a single product environmental process. (currently; RoHS implementation team, lead free team, DFE team, Business process development team). ********Working with the Biz process team to ensure cost effective processes are in place to support RoHS requirements. ********Communication to the organization. ********PM (flag issues, ensure websites are maintained, work with legal and communication for external to Cisco RoHS action items) ********Presentations to senior management. ********Facilitate the steering committee meetings. Skills required : Typically requires BS engineering degree plus 5-10 years of related work experience in program management, quality engineering, NPI, or supplier management. MS is preferred. A working knowledge of RoHS and/or e-waste programs is a plus. Detailed knowledge of program management, business process development, ongoing sustaining processes and tools implementation. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Demonstrated leadership ability to lead cross functional teams. Ability to drive and deliver results by focusing on setting and achieving stretch goals through continuous improvement, creating effective detailed project plans, and balancing competing priorities. Excellent problem solving skill! s, including conflict resolution. Excellent follow-through & attention to detail skills. Resolves, flags and escalates critical issues as needed. Flexible in work functions; willing to bring about and accept change in both own work and that of internal upstream/downstream partners.
