EN 55024 is based on CISPR 24. The only information published in EN 55024 are the common modifications. Otherwise, CISPR 24 applies. As CISPR 24 calls out the IEC documents, that’s what you use. Also, an important thing to note is that CISPR 24 calls out the version of the IEC standards to use. Using a more recent version is not the correct thing to do. Lot’s of fun when the specified version is no longer available on the IEC web site.

I know there is no difference between the two, but they are normally 1 year apart. Which one is the correct one to use when selling to Europe? Also, In EN 55024, they call out the IEC 61000 series standards. Why not EN?
