Dear Group, I have been asked by product designers if Luminaires with built in pan and tilt mechanisms should be covered by the Machinery Directive in conjunction with Low Voltage Directive. I do not have sufficient knowledge of the Luminaires Safety Standards to know whether risks of injury from moving part are covered.
