David,

I'm afraid it is neither governmental nor free. It is published by SAE,
http://www.sae.org/ , or can also be obtained in its European equivalent
>from http://www.eurocae.org/ . Both organisations will happily sell you an
electronic download.

Subject: DO-160 Airplane EMC standard?

Greetings all,
Does anyone know where I can find a copy of DO-160? I did a thorough
Google search but mostly found labs that offer the evaluation. I'd guess
that this is a governmental standard and would therefore be free, but I
can't find it anywhere.

Thanks in advance,
-Dave Heald
