On a related point, 95/54/EEC is in the process of being replaced by
2004/104/EC of 14th Oct 2004 (OJ L337 of 13 Nov 2004), which applies from 1
January 2006.

It can, with some difficulty, be found on the Commission website

Subject: Automotive EMC Directive

Hello Colleagues:

Could anyone tell me for the Automotive EMC Directive 95/54/EC:

Do I have to arrange for testing and homologation to be completed by a EU test
lab or is there any U.S.Canadian labs accredited to do this.

Any help much appreciated!
