National implementations of ENs, such as BS ENs, sometimes carry a date one year after the actual EN, because the EN was ratified near the end of the year. So a DOC might reasonably cite 'BS EN...' with a date that appears to be one year late. Other than that, there should be no deviation that I am aware of, in respect of the 61000-6 series. The situation is far more complicated for some standards in the EN 55000 series, notably EN 55022 and EN 55024, because CISPR has introduced changes to the reference standards which are either not suitable for Europe or are technically defective. In these cases, you would be well advised to learn the history, leading to the current position, and keep up to date, because things have changed monthly or even more often.
