What kind of product is this - an intentional or unintentional radiator?
Generally, if the conducted and/or radiated emissions vary by more than 2
dB it is necessary to retest and get a new list of test data.

Frank

Dear Bob,
Thanks for the attention paid. Which section of FCC should I refer
for getting more clarity about this?

All things being equal, solid ferrite cores are more effective than split
cores.

Split ferrite core & molded ferrite
core
Dear Experts,
Compliance testing for a product has been done with a split type
ferrite core in the cable and report has been prepared and submitted to
VCCI. For FCC & CE DoC has been prepared with photos showing the split type
ferrite core assembled at the appropriate position in the cable. Now the
manufacturing wants to replace the split core with a molded core. Is it
necessary to retest with this molded core and one more test report
generation? I request you experts to point out the stand on VCCI, CE & FCC
on this.
Sincerely
K.Balasubramanian
