- EN 50366:2003 is an EMF standard, not an EMC standard. - EMF is a form of radiation and so is covered by the LVD
- The radiation limits in the frequency range 0 Hz to 300 GHz are set out in European Union Council Recommendation on EMF, 1999/519/EC. In general, the intent of EMF product standards is to provide a measurement methodology for demonstrating compliance with the Council Recommendation, which in turn defines the legal exposure limits at various frequencies and for various types of field. If you wish to use standards to demonstrate conformity with the LVD and your product is within the scope of EN 50366:2003 then you should use that standard. There are other product-specific EMF standards (e.g. covering radiation from mobile 'phones) and generic EMF standards which should be used where no product standards exist: the same applies here too.
