There are standards covering artwork generation, screen meshes and inks etc.

Screen printing Current £32.00 £64.00 However the final result will have much to do with your original design and artwork quality in the first place though. It will also depend on your own acceptability criteria which only you can define. If you have a viable artwork design the screened item should be as perfect as the artwork if screened on an ideal medium, but there are many variables: If you: have tiny print (text<1.5mm) then you might expect it to get blobby. are printing on a textured paint finish then you may get bleed and don’t expect to reproduce fine detail well. are printing closer to an edge it may be difficult to execute have small features they may not reproduce well you have large screens which need to align with many holes you might need to re-think and maybe break it into several pulls especially if the screen is concentric to a hole. I think there are too many factors there to be able to produce a generic standard – don’t you? I have done a lot of searching on the internet and I could not find anything. I went to global Engineering and performed a search and although it listed several specifications, none of the specifications were what I was looking for. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
