Hello everyone, We have a couple of low voltage(<30Vdc) DC IEC60065 type professional products which will not be shipped to Japan with a power supply. It is up to the installer to provide the power.
We have been told by our Japan office that these low voltage products should not have the PSE circle Mark on the label as they are under 100Vac. My questions are as follows: 1. Since these products are <100V are they exempt from the PSE circle Mark requirements? 2. If they are exempt from Safety requirements are they still required to meet EMC requirements for Japan? Are they required to bear the PSE Circle Mark to show EMC compliance similar to the CE requirements in Europe? Thanks in advance for your help.
