Please can our continental European friends tell me the the number and title (and, if possible, a rough English translation thereof) of any national equivalent standards for the UK's BS 5733 "General requirements for electrical accessories".
This is the standard which applies to products such as travel adapters which convert from one form of mains plug to another. If possible, I would also be interested to know if these standards permit such adapters not to provide earthing continuity in some circumstances. Thanks and regards Nick.
