I agree. I have been using my 9354-1 for about 10 years. It's had only one
trip back to Solar for repair, although I use it every couple of weeks.
Remember that you will also need a calibration jig, a decent termination (like
a Narda 766 20 watt), an injection probe (Solar or Fischer) and a spectrum
analyzer or fast oscilloscope. The coax from the generator to the injection
probe should be very good quality (like RG214 or better) and reasonably short.

About the only thing I don't like about the 9354-1 is that the drive voltage
display is not very stable. It has four significant digits, and I would expect
a 4-digit DVM to dither only a few counts in the least significant digit. My
9354-1 dithers about +/- 50 counts, forcing you to do a bit of "optical
integration" to read the level.
