Subject: wanted: Lightning consultant - pref UK based.
UK client is looking for some expert advice on Lightning protection.
The product is a Point-to-multipoint radio product installed on rooftop.
AC mains and ethernet data inputs, co-located antenna.
Current plan:
1)test/ruggedise the product to a level that can be reasonably achieved with
inherent and additional internal circuitry - looking for guidance on test
levels, waveshapes and set-ups etc.
2) Provide advice that will be given to the end customer on additional
external protection circuitry and the installation circumstances under which
is should be used.
They are anticipating a total of a few days work for this.
