All,

I am trying to determine what the minimum requirements are for a PCB used in a
IEC 60950-1 SMPS. The PCB supports primary circuits and is single layer. The
obvious requirements are flammability, temperature and creepage. Does the
board require any other certifications?

For example, in UL's certification database PCBs are normally recognized under
category ZPMV2. The material in question is recognized under QMTS2. The
QMTS2 category covers the flammability and temperature. The additional ZPMV2
data includes conductor width and thickness as well as solder temperature. I
am aware that additional testing is conducted to qualify a QMTS2 material for
the ZPMV2 category.

I have not been presented with this situation previously and was curious if
anyone has been down this path.
