Dear Experts,
Our product is a USB smart card reader (ISO 7816). It is a Class III
product supplied by SELV and this is cULUS listed. Now we are proceeding
for the following:
1. TUVGS ZH1 - 618.
2. EMKO-TSE (74-SEC) 207
3. MIC - Korea
I want to ensure that we don't face any contingency during the above
3 approvals. I wish these approvals to be a cake walk and for that I want
to know the below:
1. For obtaining the above approvals what additional tests (apart from the
cULUS tests which the product already cleared) this product will be
subjected to?
2. I hope both the above approvals will be referring EN 60950 rather than
IEC 60950. In otherwords if the above 2 approvals are obtained I believe
that the product is fully compliant to EN60950.
One more question: CB certification / CB report is based on IEC 60950
or is it based on EN 60950.
Sincerely
K.Balasubramanian
Project Leader - Hardware.
