The standard number is actually EN 50366. As you know from the Column, 
my concern is that the scope is drawn far too loosely, such that almost 
anything might be held to be within it. The IEC standard IEC 62233, on 
the other hand, has an exclusion list, and my proposal to BSI is to ask 
CENELEC to adopt that exclusion list as an 'Interpretation' of EN 50366, 
which would come into effect immediately on publication. I hope to 
discuss this next week at the BSI committee.

There is a Generic Standard for EMF (IEC 62311) at a late stage of 
development, but we are waiting to see the effect on the latest text of 
the many changes that were proposed by national committees.
