You refer to the above standard in your recent article in the EMC Journal
http://www.compliance-club.com/currentissue/article.asp?artid=291. Whilst
there are 113 pages of standards listed in the OJ which are harmonised with
the LVD many of these are product specific and thus not applicable to every
product. We use EN61010-1 for most of our products. However the above
standard is more generic in its scope.
Do you think we should at also apply EN50336 to our products and include
this in our Declarations of Conformity for products falling within the LVD?
