Hi group,

For a fixed wireless terminal with a WCDMA board included we should have the
option to use a external antenna and my question is if there are any
requirements for the antenna connector to be used. (I´m aware of the
requirements for WLAN antenna connectors that have the requirements for a
unique connector to be used so I thought that that maybe it should be the same
for a WCDM board). I have looked in FCC part 24 but have not find any
requirement for unique antenna connector.
The intended markets are US, EU, Australia and New Zealand

Anyone who can give me some input if there are any requirements for the
antenna connector?

Second question
Do we need to do any SAR measurements for such device or it´s ok to do a
calculation of the maximum permission Exposure? (I think it should be
classified as a Mobile device)?

Regards
Anders
