Greetings listmates,
RadiSys is currently seeking a senior compliance engineer to help our
design engineering teams ace their safety, EMC, environmental test and NEBS
requirements.
RadiSys is a manufacturer of embedded computer systems - so we deal
primarily with 60950 in the safety space and 55022/24 or 300 386 in the EMC
space.
A significant portion of our business is in the telecom carrier market, so
NEBS and equivalent ETSI requirements tend to drive our compliance
objectives for those products.
We're looking for someone with 12+ years of experience - ideally someone
who can translate all of these requirements into what our design team will
need to ensure their products sail through testing, while remaining
moderately cheerful on most days except some Mondays, which may, on
occasion, be rescheduled to other days ending in 'y'.
A more complete description of the position is more than the wonderful
admins (hallowed be their names - below) would like to see me post, so if
you're intrigued, please visit the RadiSys website at
http://www.radisys.com/careers
Select Employment Opportunities to get to the postings or browse through
the other entries to get a broader sense about RadiSys. You will, of
course, also find all of the obligatory information required by the HR
team, their legal handlers, our bouncer Eddy and his band of merry men (and
equally cheerful women).
If this doesn't look like your thing, but you know someone for whom it
might sound wonderful, please either pass this along to them or drop me a
note with their contact information. The posting is also available (and
formatted nicer) on monster.com.
Please address responses to me individually unless you're vain enough to
believe that your witty riposte is something that 847 of your colleagues
need to read. I can almost assure you it's not - and Eddy and my
administrator brethren don't suffer fools gladly.
Regards,
Michael Garretson
