Hi Folks You can find information on "The Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (HS) of the Customs Cooperation Council (CCC)" on a number of websites. For example:http://www.uktradeinfo.com/index.cfm?task=intraicn is the relevant part of the UK Customs and Excise Site. Not an easy job to do, and some countries (e.g. the PRC) use extended versions of the code to more clearly define the categories (which are used for the lists of products requiring CCC in China).
