Hi all, After many tests and attempts to recreate the problem in the lab, with partial success, I suggested to the developer to also check the software (firmware of the on-board microcontroller) After this the developer went away and became silent for a week or two and eventually he said he checked the code and it was very sensitive, and that fixing it eliminated the problems: 1. The code which communicates with the host computer was easily diverted into a state of "inactive hang" by erroneous commands 2.
