Regards, Chris _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Scott Xe Sent: 09 October 2006 16:12 To: [email protected] Subject: Standby on mode As far as I understand that in US/Canada, to qualify Energy Star Symbol, the power consumption must be no more than:- 2 watts Audio products 3 watts DVD players, TVs. 4 watts VCRs. 6 watts TV-VCRs. Is there something similar in EU? If there is no any Energy Star Symbol, the products do not have above criteria. Is there any current or future directive to govern it?
