Ian - Article 6 of 2004/108/EC cites the "Official Journal of the European Union" as the source of harmonized standards and Annex I as a list of requirements. Annex I protection requires 'the electromagnetic disturbance generated does not exceed the level above which radio and telecommunications equipment or other equipment cannot operate as intended;'. A web search on 'Europa' only listed EuroNorms for the old directive, 89/336/EEC (not 2004/108/EC). The OJ had been updated in March, but the most recent release was 2005. It seems we do not have the final answer yet. 2004/108/EC defers to 95/5/EC for intentional radiators. EuroNorms under 95/5/EC define what unintentional radiation testing is necessary. David
