Am I correct in assuming that the New EMC Directive does not explicitly
require testing above 1GHz? Thus any technical requirements such as frequency
ranges are defined solely by the appropriate standards for a product.

I ask this as someone from another company suggested the New Directive had
this requirement specifically.
