Job Title: Compliance Engineer-Handhelds

Job Description:
The position will be responsible for managing the test and certification
activities for the iPAQ handheld family of products, with the goal to
minimize schedule delays related to compliance issues.   This includes
the following activities:  
-Support PCTRB, GCF and CTIA test/compliance and certification, as well
as committee meetings as applicable.
-Ensuring compliance with applicable FCC Section 508 and 255
requirements.
-Act as a liaison between product development teams and corporate
regulatory personnel on compliance and certification issues.  
-Support schedule development and tracking for all product
certifications.
-Support IEEE1725 compliance activities.
-Support the scheduling of IOT testing.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years related
experience The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing
PCTRB, GCF and/or regulatory activities. 
Knowledge of cellular hardware technologies, standards, protocols,
networks, and suppliers highly desirable. 
Proven track record supporting the delivery of wireless products to
market. 
Excellent communication skills. 
Generates new and innovative solutions to complex problems. 
Effectively manages multiple projects simultaneously. 
Must be independent and reliable. 
Experience in working with internal and external partners. 
Experience with Microsoft project. 
Fluency in English.
