Hi Mark & Bill,

Thanks for the information. I was talking about the peak reading. The
quasi-peak reading would be only a couple of dB lower than the peak if you
wait for the max signal. Otherwise, the quasi-peak signal was floor noise
because the signal goes away.

I agree that this type of reading should be taken.  Should the quasi-peak
reading be taken at maximum? i.e wait for the signal to come in?
