Dear Experts,
I need your help to clarify some questions I have. 1. Do the following standards apply to dimmers? Emission: EN 55015 Immunity: EN 61547 Safety: EN 60669-2-x Harmonics: EN 61000-3-2 Flickers: EN 61000-3-3 Radio: EN 300 328-2 for 2.4 GHz SS Remote Controller if applicable 2. What is the major difference(s) between CISPR 15: 2000 with A1: 2001 & A2: 2002 and CISPR 15: 2005 (7th Edition)? The 7th edition is the version of CISPR 15. However, the harmonized standard (as of December, 2006) is the other version listed. 3. Is there any possibility that dimmers are evaluated to EN 55014-1 and EN 55014-2? A dimmer design engineer requested these standards. I don't have them in my collection. I wander if I miss something. 4. For wall mount dimmers, per new EMC Directive 2004/108/EC, can they be categorized to "fixed installations" and not subject to the affixation of the 'CE' marking or to the declaration of conformity? How about wall mount dimmers with remote controllers? Per Directive 2004/108/EC, the definition of "'fixed installation' means a particular combination of several types of apparatus and, where applicable, other devices, which are assembled, installed and intended to be used permanently at a predefined location". 5. If dimmers are used in industrial environment, is there any addition or omission of test standards listed under 1.? Thank you very much for your time and look forward to your help.
