PSNet,

Here’s a topic that we all deal with on a regular basis. We
know what the nameplate is and what is needed for it.

Of course, a small, new company asks the important questions. You
mean we have to put our name on the product? Or, can we use our internet
address as our company address? Or, do you have a standard which lists all of
the items that must appear on the nameplate? Etc, etc, etc…

I have my own way of answering these questions; starting with the
list of items in the safety standard and adding the usual suspects based upon
my understanding of the markets that the company is trying to serve. But, I
confess, the list is regurgitated ad-hoc with each request.

From this line of questioning I thought it would be a good topic
for our worldwide experts on things regulatory.

Finally, does anyone have a good (time-tested) list that they
would like to share with the group?

On your mark, get set, pontificate …

:>) br, Pete
