I actually have several English documents from this site - http://www.soumu.go.jp/joho_tsusin/eng/laws_dt02.html. My main problem has been cross referencing the ARIB requirements to the actual Radio Law.
I can add these to the IEEE EMC-PSTC Forum, but I am unsure where……………..? This is the only document dealing with the technical details, in English, as I am able to find online. We have spent several months studying a translation of the Japan Radio Law document, and even longer extracting bits of requirements from our potential customer. Presently, we are attempting to determine how the Japan Radio Law technically defines things like "occupied bandwidth" and "necessary bandwidth". It's beginning to appear that we need a native guide! Are there any technical authorities, or consultants, who can provide us with insights and advice about how to ensure that a product can be "licensed" under the Japan Radio Law? Please reply off-list if you prefer. Thanks in advance!
